Plant the seeds in nutrient-rich, well-draining soil, Use a mix of sand, peat moss, and manure compost soil for your daisies.

Water daisies at the base of the plant. Water the base of the plant at least once a week. The daisies don’t grow well in soggy soil, so make sure the soil is well-drained before watering again.

  • Water the daisies thoroughly a day or two before repotting to loosen the root ball.
  • Gently remove the daisies from their current container, being careful not to damage the roots.
  • Shake off excess soil and inspect the roots. Trim any damaged or excessively long roots.
  • Place a layer of fresh potting mix in the bottom of the new container.
  • Position the daisies in the center of the container and fill in around the roots with additional potting mix.
  • Firm the soil gently around the roots to provide support. Water the daisies immediately after repotting to settle the soil and hydrate the roots.

Sow the seeds directly into the prepared garden bed or seed-starting trays filled with well-draining potting mix. Lightly cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and water gently.
